The Office of Chief Rabbi, under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, stands as a beacon of hope and humanitarian support for communities in crisis. With a remarkable history of service dating back to the Soviet era, this organization continues to provide vital assistance to those in need across Ukraine and beyond.
Our Leadership

Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman’s journey from Soviet-era activist to respected religious leader exemplifies our organization’s commitment to supporting communities through adversity. Born in Leningrad in 1966, Rabbi Azman’s early involvement in the refusenik movement demonstrated his dedication to defending religious freedoms. After receiving rabbinical ordination in Israel and serving in the IDF, he has dedicated his life to community service and humanitarian aid.
